Sales / Service Associate
Growing Insurance and Financial Services Agency seeking positive mature minded individual for the Sales Service Associate available positions.
hrs per week.
Candidate will be a customer facing position in assisting Agency in selling servicing various lines of insurance and financial products.
Candidate will also refer clients to Farm Bureau Agency for quoting and crossselling.
Pay hourly rate plus commission and bonus structure.
Willing train select candidate.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Customizing insurance programs to suit individual customers covering a variety of risks.
Explaining features advantages and disadvantages of various policies to promote sale of insurance plans.
Performing administrative tasks such as maintaining records policy changes and general servicing tasks.
Selling various types of insurance policies to businesses and individuals on behalf of Farm Bureau Financial Services Agency.
Calling on policyholders to deliver and explain policies.
Seeking out new clients and developing clientele by networking to find new customers and generate lists of prospective clients.
Attending meetings seminars sales campaigns and programs to learn about new products and services learn new skills and receive technical assistance in developing new accounts.
Other duties as required and assigned by Agent Supervisor.
Communication Oral Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spokenwritten word.
Accountability Ability to accept responsibility and account for hisher actions.
Sales Ability Ability to use appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to gain acceptance of a product service or idea.
Customer Oriented Ability to take care of the customers needs while following company procedures.
Persuasive Ability to influence others to change position or to adopt a specific point of view.
Proficient Computer Word Excel Internet skills High School Graduate or General Education Degree GED.
Experience No prior experience required.
Sales andor insurance experience preferred.
Willing to train select candidate.
Spanish speaking is a plus but not required.
Certificates Licenses Must be willing to obtainmaintain UT State insurance license.
Candidate will be reimbursed for taking Utah licensure License exams for Property Casualty insurance lines after oneyear satisfactory employment.
TransportationBackground Check Must have clean driving record and maintain UT drivers license.
Candidate must be willing to submit and pass FBIUT StateFarm Bureau background check.
Exceptional candidate will have the opportunity for promotion to Office Mgr Lead Sales Associate.
