Direct Support Personnel DSP
Thryve Services provides exceptional support for adults with disabilities in a residential setting.
We are currently hiring for Direct Care Support Staff for our independent group homes to support and assist in caring for the consumers.
Staff will work with and support consumers in their daily life at home within the community to ensure they are safe and to also ensure that their consumer needs are met.
The consumer is the focus in all we do and our goal is to increase selfesteem improve health and hygiene and to foster independence.
Staff will assist the individual consumers while they serve in creating and working towards goals to increase their independence and quality of life providing them with fun opportunities to grow Thryve Services has a wonderful team of dedicated administrators to support staff members every step of the way.
Thryve also provides some great perks for working the weekends such as trips to Lagoon in the summer taking clients to the gym.
Going to the pool etc.
and other fun opportunities as such.
Thryve Services has employed many students studying in various degrees from sociology social work special education many more who have loved the flexibility and been successful in both work and school.

We would love to hear from you Employee Responsibilities Communicate with All Staff During your shift Please ensure you answer phone calls or texts from Management and other Staff working while on your shift Take the clients on outings Work on goals with the clients and complete documentation Assist clients with ADLs Be a pleasant and a supportive companion Report any unusual events or occurrences to supervisor Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency Adhere to company policies and delegated duties all that are included and not limited to.
Administering treatments Administering and Checking off Medications Making beds Cooking meals Handling laundry Running errands Buying groceries Noticing and documenting any change in health conditions Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check Must be years of age or older with a high school diploma Clean DMV report Higher education and field experience is preferred Able to complete all assigned program documentation accurately and within the allotted time frames Have good judgment and able to handle crisis with poise.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
